thats incredible journalism right there. they even admit that the club want him to stay, he wants to stay yet they still manage to say he might leave. incredible...

As much as I'd hate to see it happen, this isn't exactly outside the realms of possibility. If he doesn't get an extended run in the team due to injury or mediocre form, he could be offloaded to a zilch-rate club like Tottenham.

Contrary to media reports Chelsea is not, and will not be, considering any offers for Joe Cole.

Our sole focus, as is Joe's, is to complete his rehab and get him fit as soon as possible so that he can play a major part in the new season.
