Michael Ballack has hinted that his time with Chelsea could be over if the club fail to secure major silverware this term.

Yeah i was thinking that, give youth a try, id be well happy to see them get a prem run out !!

wtf? this guy will stay, thats just the media...

I cant see any quotes, where he says explicitely that he wanna leave.

just an example:

"I'm very much at home in London and I can imagine seeing out my career at Chelsea."

To be honest he didn't actually say he might leave Chelsea, did he?

To me it seem like the newspaper took some quotes and then made their own version.

Looks like a report based around an interview he gave a couple of months ago where he actually said he was considering retiring from the game when his contract had finished. Can't see a problem with the true story at all.

Well tbh i never seen it as media titel tattle, but i do hope he does stay for 1 more season at least, but if he did go then be great for the younger kids to break through coz of the ban we got

but just thought id share it, be happy as larry i fhe does stay and puts in 100 %

I thought this was an old story that they've obviously re-hashed. From my understanding we had him sign a 1 year contract extention, and I think that'll be when he retires

Yep. Its complete crap. I woke up today and read a story with the title 'Ballack considers seeing out career with Blues". Used the same interview, just focused on different parts.

The media always does this. A player makes a harmless comment about considering retirement or moving on when his contract ends and suddenly he's unhappy and wants out. Right.

Anyway, Ballack's one of my favorite players and can still be extremely influential on his day, but after this year, if he wants to retire, it's fine with me. If not, also fine with me.

Ballack hasn't been what we all expected when he arrived I'm sure but when he has been on form he have decided games for us. That is something you cant say from all of our players..
