Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?

That Adele song reminds me of the dreadful paradox whereby when someone has gone off you and you still hanker after him/her, it's SO painful - but if you've gone off him/her and he/she still hankers after you, it's just one holy pain in the ass!

Rammstein.

These guys are excellent musicians, too bad that, since they're also German (and a pretty aggresive bunch of Krauts at that), every song they make is interpreted as some neo-Nazi BS. Just like how at one time, Metallica and Iron Maiden were vilified for being devil-worshippers. I personally believe some of their songs are as epic as Maiden's and are as much fun to listen to as Manowar in full swing.

Watch this video and tell me you weren't moved.

Damn Kristofferson could write a quality lyric. I realise a lot of people aren't big country fans and I'm not really either, but he is right up there with the likes of Neil Young as one of the great songwriters. Sunday Morning Coming Down is a brilliant example as well.

Terrible name for a band and the song's not too great, but I quite liked the video:

So yeah, I wasn't listening to it that much, but I didn't want to start a new thread for it(so sue me). :laugh2:

Thanks! Here's another Mary Black song just before I go to bed. Have a good weekend yourself. Victory against Spurs tomorrow would help!

And here's another Mary Black song for Randy. It's the first of May and I would go out and pick some Lily of the Valley (which is given for luck in France on the First of May) but it's raining!

That brought back some memories! Thanks, Randy. Here are a few songs by Dick Gaughan ( a Scottish singer )
