What do members on here think about about James McCarthy, the lad at Wigan Athletic?

I think this guy is a talent who has done well at Wigan since signing from Hamilton. He is one player that I think that Chelsea should go after in this summer's transfer market.

He would probably need a season to adjust to our style and the Premiership a bit more.

Which is why it wouldnt work. Our fans would be ripping him apart after 3 bad games.

believe this or not ,this lad was watched by Barca scouts on more than one occasion whilst at Hamilton

I am pretty sure he actually wanted to play for Scotland but chose Ireland after Scotland rejected him at youth football level. (bit of a gaff there!)

Despite the prosecution having actual CCTV footage of him attacking a DJ and then having to be restrained by his mates? I find it hard to believe any judge would fail to convict with that amount of over-whelming evidence in front of him. Wait a minute................... in Liverpool you say?
