Hi everyone,

Commiserataions to those who thought you'd finally heard the last of me - Priesty is back ! The second longest-surviving Chelsea site (est. 1996) has risen, phoenix-like, from the ashes.

I lost the site earlier this year when Yahoo! suddenly closed down host site GeoCities, not even giving me the chance to rescue my files. 14 years of work down the tubes, just like that. How I love Yahoo!.... Luckily for me there are people out there in cyberspace who were happy to help out, with the result that I can now take up where I left off.

I'm now back at www.chelsea-fc.org.uk , still as disrespectful as ever and always ready to take the football authorities to task, and hope you will be able to pay me the odd visit this season. I will be updating much more regularly than has been the case during the last year or two, and I may even be able to persuade struck-off quack Dr Les to contribute on the odd occasion when he's compos mentis enough to put hand to keyboard. As a teaser, my first article will be entitled "Sepp Blatter is a c**t - Part 342"

Thanks to all the people out there who have stuck with me over the years, here's looking forward to another great season in your company. I'd love to hear from you if you can be bothered, you can email me at [email protected]

Wayne Bridge does not deserve abuse from Chelsea fans.

oh yes he does. John Terry allegedly slept with Vanessa Perroncel who was Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend. i say "allegedly" because this is something that she has always denied.

the media gleefully and maliciously allowed this rumour to become "John Terry slept with Wayne Bridge's wife" throwing in further rumours of a terminated pregnancy for good measure. Wayne Bridge was not only quite happy to go along with this, but milked the situation for everything it was worth. remember the "Team Bridge" tshirts? remember Wayne Bridge withdrawing from the England squad because when the story broke he suddenly couldn't face being in the same squad as John Terry. and then with the media frenzy at it's peak, remember the way he refused to shake John Terry's hand? Wayne Bridge's behaviour was as gleefully malicious, childish and spiteful as any of the grossly distorted mythology propogated by the media.

and what was the purpose of all this if not to derail Chelsea's title chances? it's undeniable that John Terry's form especially dipped dramatically while all this was going on. if you don't think that Wayne Bridge knew this all the while then you are naive in the extreme. so yes, Wayne Bridge fully deserves every ounce of abuse he received from Chelsea fans, and a whole lot more besides.

Withdrawing from the England squad I fully understand, he wasn't going to start and didn't want to spend everyday in the company of a man he hates. Would you shake JT's hand if you were Wayne Bridge? Wayne Bridge is not to blame for the media.

JT is a great captain and great player, off the field his actions were that of a scumbag. That is not Wayne Bridges fault.

He was a good servant to the club too, doesn't deserve abuse from Chelsea fans.

as i said, you're entitled to your opinion. and mine is that Wayne Bridge is a steaming, sanctimonious hypocrite who milked the situation for all it was worth. don't forget that Vanessa Perroncel was Eider Gudjohnsen's girlfriend before Wayne Bridge got hold of her. a little factoid that was neatly brushed under the carpet along with her denial that she even slept with JT. you say "of course JT slept with her" but you can't prove it any more than i or anyone else can prove she didn't. furthermore, Wayne Bridge had no problems whatsoever with being in the same England squad as JT until the story broke in the press. to believe that this was the first he had heard of it is naive in the extreme.

i'm pretty sure they'd both recently been in at least one England squad. back to the Team Bridge thing. i don't know if he was behind it. it doesn't really matter. he went along with it, and as i've said, i have absolutely no doubt that Wayne Bridge milked the situation for all it was worth. making no attempt at any time to the crap about her being his wife.

because of course "John Terry slept with his best friend's wife" sounds so much worse than "John Terry is alleged to have slept with his ex-teammate's ex-girlfriend".

even if terry did sleep with her so wot its his ex meaning the were broke up doesnt that mean anything to bridge hell bridge should be thanking terry for a full summer of under a crap and false excuse
