June 21, 201114 yr If this is true, then it's one more reason to despise Barcelona. According to this article on Vital Football which in turn references the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Barçalona President Sandro Rossell met Luiz's agent to communicate Barça`s interest in the player, a meeting that took place without any permission from Chelsea: Barça tapping up David Luiz I hope someone from the club phoned them up and told them to f**k right off.
June 21, 201114 yr Sick the lawyers on them Roman! Use the compensation to buy Modric. You've got to be either arrogant or stupid to try and out-mafia Roman. Can't see us being the victims of too much tapping up, else people might start mysteriously disappearing.

June 21, 201114 yr I think we can also accept a player plus cash deal involving Iniesta or Pedro for David. 20m plus Iniesta anyone?
June 21, 201114 yr Edit: oh for f**k sake im swapping back to my old mouse now this is annoying, tip : dont ever buy a razer mouse if you want double click problems after awhile. Edited June 21, 201114 yr by Andreas
June 21, 201114 yr Noo, Messi in a player swap then yeah. You can't stop double posting! :P I don't really want any of their players (Messi is obviously unobtainable). I'd rather beat that team than dismantle it with transfers.
June 22, 201114 yr Just heard on Talkshire Barca have showed interest in David Luiz, hope he stays put.
June 22, 201114 yr Luiz would fit Barca perfectly but I can't see much of a reason for us to sell him unless they make some sort of astronomical offer.
June 22, 201114 yr It's probably just sh*te, I have not read anything about it elsewhere.I hope Luiz is part of a new era for us.

June 23, 201114 yr Just reading one of the many Falcao stories and came across this paragraph. It's the Daily Star so taken with a pinch of salt, but really who does make this stuff up. Villas-Boas also wants a new right-back and plans to move for Barcelona’s superstar Dani Alves. It will be tough to prise the Brazilian away from the Nou Camp after he signed a new long-term deal last season. Chelsea could be tempted to use defender David Luiz as part of the deal with the European and Spanish champions targeting the Brazilian for an estimated £27m. 'Luiz as part of the deal'
June 23, 201114 yr The Mirror has listed the players in our squad who are at risk and their values. Usual suspects, but couldn't help laugh at the values these 2 players were given: Michael Essien (£10m) One of the pillars of Mourinho's side but never close to his best last term and appears more expendable than at any time since arrival from Lyons. Coveted by others but powers may be on the wane. Salomon Kalou (£15m) Never popular with the Stamford Bridge fans despite decent goal return rate and likely to drop further down the pecking order in the new regime. Yes, Kalou is worth more than Easien.
