June 23, 201115 yr If this is true, then it's one more reason to despise Barcelona. According to this article on Vital Football which in turn references the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Barçalona President Sandro Rossell met Luiz's agent to communicate Barça`s interest in the player, a meeting that took place without any permission from Chelsea: Barça tapping up David Luiz If true, Chelsea should report Barcelona for tapping up.
June 25, 201115 yr You know that's not his website right? It's just the website that spammer from the other day was advertising.
June 25, 201115 yr You know that's not his website right? It's just the website that spammer from the other day was advertising. Judging by the lack of correct spelling and how Chelsea are going to bid some lunch for the player I think you're right!

June 27, 201115 yr According to the Mail, we've had a £27 million bid turned down for David Villa. I find it almost as difficult to believe this story as I do the traditional bi-annual (i.e. every transfer window) fairy tale that we're attempting to sign Sergio Ramos.
June 27, 201115 yr Coentrao rumour appearing again. LINK A left back, just what we're lacking eh. Ok if Ash was to leave then it's not impossible, but really, £27m!
June 27, 201115 yr Nothing linking us to him, but I hope Drogba is having a chat with this Coulibaly at the U-17 World Cup and letting him know how great Chelsea is.
June 27, 201115 yr 1.Fabio Coentrao 2. Alexis Sanchez 3.Creative midfielder and that's it. 1. Do we need a leftback? Dont think so. 2. Isn't he on his way to barca? 3. Agreed. Modric is the ideal candidate for that role.
June 27, 201115 yr I don't think Cole is going anywhere, it's the yearly rumour that pops up like Sergio Ramos/David Villa. Fabio Coentro would be a waste of money when we have Cole/PVA with Bertrand looking likely to go out on loan to a premiership club. I often feel the likes of Daily Mail/Mirror just report rubbish when very little comes out of Chelsea especially after a managerial appointment. You often hear journos talk about how hard it is to get information out of Chelsea, just look at the Boas deal.
June 27, 201115 yr 1. Do we need a leftback? Dont think so. 2. Isn't he on his way to barca? 3. Agreed. Modric is the ideal candidate for that role. 1.If we sell A.Cole, yes we need leftback. 2.No he isn't.
June 27, 201115 yr 1.If we sell A.Cole, yes we need leftback. 2.No he isn't. 1. No we don't. Patrick/Ryan both would do the business.
June 27, 201115 yr 1. No we don't. Patrick/Ryan both would do the business. Not convinced that either of them are good enough to be our first choice left-back, just yet. That's not to say that they won't get there, but I'd be feeling very uncomfortable if we were to let Ashley leave this summer and didn't bring someone in to replace him.
June 28, 201115 yr Never been a fan of these converted full backs. Look at Bosingwa for instance. Never convinces me that he actually knows what he's doing.
June 28, 201115 yr Reports suggesting we bid 30mill for him. I hope is bs, as I don't understand this transfer atall!
June 28, 201115 yr Would be a massive mistake IMO. Sheva-type of signing. Fantastic player but changing league at his age and facing competition against Anelka, Drogba, Torres and Kalou for playing time would be a career suicide from his point of view IMO. He wouldn't even come I'm sure.
June 28, 201115 yr Never been a fan of these converted full backs. Look at Bosingwa for instance. Never convinces me that he actually knows what he's doing. He was actually quite good before his injury, both offensively and defensively, unfortunately hasn't been the same since his injury.
June 28, 201115 yr Don't need another LB. Cole still has another year or 2 at the top, and he can be gradually phased out to make way for Bertrand. With PVA as backup to them both or maybe employed in a slightly advanced role?
June 28, 201115 yr Malouda is on the way out apparently. So say the Daily Star and Talksport. Here's Talksport's version: Florent Malouda is set to be the first victim of new Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas’ Stamford Bridge clear-out.Villas Boas, who will be presented to the world’s media on Wednesday morning, is wasting no time reshaping the Blues squad and Malouda is the first heading for the exit, with Italy his likely destination. AC Milan, Inter and Roma have all been alerted to the availability of the Frenchman, who was Chelsea’s top Premier League scorer last season with 13. Nicolas Anelka could also join his fellow countryman in heading for the exit the door, but midfielder Michael Essien will be staying at Stamford Bridge despite reports of a possible move to AC Milan.
June 28, 201115 yr I don't mind us shipping some players out as long as we have replacements/alternatives lined up ready to come in
