I always thought that Baker was better than RLC. I am actually RLC has had so much hype over the past 2 years... compared to some other youth players.

Its a lot easier to move on when were doing so well. We have seen staggering improvements since his departure. I loved him and its such a shame how his last 12-18 months have gone for him. Looks a completely different player. He was on top of the world here.

Spain currently have much deeper problems that just Diego not scoring imho. They lack any direction other than slowly moving the ball backwards and forth. I watched the game yesterday and nobody offered anything. Even Iniesta looked like a shadow of his former self.

Agree, Hazard generally operates in his best areas. I wasn't that impressed with Schurrle during the season, for me he often took the wrong decision, like shooting from a ridiculous angle. I also find him weak in possession, however no matter how he plays he has a opportunity to score as he finds himself in the right space. Excited for him and love the way he is up for a fight. He's only 23 as well, just looks older

Baker could play next to matic and swap with Van Ginkel imho. Chalabah could push as well, hasn't had the best of seasons mind. Well done lads, another quality performance.

I can imagine every single game the opposition will try to get him to react to get him sent off. For me personally, we have to let this one go, he would be a liability and I could never trust him. I don't even trust Rambo for christ's sake and this guys psycho compared...

Cavani doesn't look half the player playing up top with Ibra, not sure he'd be willing to come if this was the scenario and I doubt we have the money to really pay the two of them and their respected fee's.

Im the same really as Castiel Just etc. I do really rate oscar but for the money being spouted about I think it would be a good deal. I don't really think he as instrumental as some of you are making out tbh. Jose left him out of a fair amount of big games this season, that whole idea that he was his chosen one is nonsense imho. Jose will do whats best for the club and the team. I love Oscar and think he has been great, I won't lie and hide behind the fact that I do think that with the amount of talent the kid has he should be offering far more to the team. I think however, that we need to take into consideration the number of games this kid's played. I think I read he has pretty much not had a break for nearly over 2-3 years. My view is simple, If PSG were to offer upwards of 45£mill then I would let him go as I think we could get a number of players of his calibre or better for 25-30 mill and put the rest of that money into improving the squad. There are other players who can work hard but are also way more creative and precise in the final third. I feel we have missed this since Juan stopped playing tbh, and I understand were top of the league but I feel we would keep much more possession if we had a ball playing number 10 who passing was better. I do feel oscar has the potential to do this and I wouldn't be sure if the issues surrounding Oscar are down the fatigue.

I wouldn't be against this for the money that being talked about. I think we could get a replacement in with and put the extra cash towards our striker cost. I think oscar is replaceable, but maybe I just expect much more from him and being too critical.

Bloody hell I wasn't expecting at halftime. Only managed to watch till the end of first half as I needed to go out with the family for a pub lunch. I have been one of the more vocal ones on this site of Schurrle's progress so far and first half I thought he was absolutely useless. The whole team looked slow and really lackluster. I thought we needed to rotate much more for the past month or two. Can't wait to watch the highlights especially the second half. Excited to eat my words later of Schurrle, well done.
