It is just a Youtube video but he does seem to be quick, has good movement and scores goals out of nowhere. These are the type of attributes we need from a striker here in my opinion. He can score a goal on his own and isn't as heavily reliant on the midfielders threading a ball into him by the looks of things.

But like i said it is just a Youtube video so i won't get too excited.

Can he move?

That is the question.

I have seen full matches of him and i will say that he would be worth it, A better option than Costa in my opinion.

scored a great goal against spain in the u21's last summer and has done well this season fron all accounts.

It would be a gamble, and if we did go down this route, I think we need a couple of gambles to go with lukaku, assuming all 3 of our current strikers leave.

maybe go with 2 of immobile, morata, icardi, mitrovic, or volland.

On the other hand Costa would be an even bigger gamble than Torres considering that this is his only good season in an entire career.

maybe, but I cant see the club going for any striker under 23, unless lukaku goes, which would be a mistake for me.

Immobile is actually 24, Him and Lukaku can be a deadly duo upfront in my opinion, Lukaku is big and strong, Can bully defenders out of a ball and also has good finishing, Immobile is quick, agile and clinical, They complement each other very well.

thought he was younger since he played in the u21 european championship last summer?

just read he is being lined up to replace lewandowski at dortmund. How much do you think he would transfer for?

u21 is essentially u21 when the qualifying starts otherwise there would be people eligible for one match and ineligible the next.

Don't watch enough Serie A to know, but he is certainly being touted as a potential candidate to go to the World Cup.

Again I do think this highlights a serious lack of available high quality strikers. I think Costa is a huge risk based on one season of good form. If last night is anything to go by (obviously it is only one game) but packed defences and physical defenders (like the ones we face every week) didn't seem to be his cup of tea.

Around 20 million pounds, A good price if you ask me.

Isnt he co-owned by Juve?

Like him as a player, offers very little in the build up  but as a pure striker hes very good. Wouldnt mind taking a chance on him, but I doubt we head into next year with a couple of youngsters leading the line

What about that Lukaku chap? He's fairly young and scores a few goals.

I agree

If he weren't a Chelsea player, would we be in for him?! I would certainly hope so

think people are talking lukaku plus another. Well I was anyway!

I'm still assuming Costa will be here, so it would be Costa, Lukaku (or another young striker if he wants to leave), plus whichever of our current 3 we keep on.

That is nonsense. If you had watched him for the last three seasons you would know that.

But yes, I think immobile would be a decent signing

if costa comes in then id go with just the 2 and schurrle/feruz/bamford as the 3rd option.

Might seem light, but what player would want to come in on low wages to make up the numbers? maybe someone like mitrovic.

Let's just say that Costa will never be as good as Torres in his prime.

Immobile is half owned by Juventus and the other half by Torino, there is talk in Italy now of Juve selling Llorente for a profit and buying out Torinos half of Ciro Immobile.

He is a very good player, he will probably be in Italy's WC squad this year

He was a quality player before he joined Liverpool.

Who's to say what his prime was, different players peak at different times, Torres had his in his younger days much like Owen really.

Costa has much to prove yet
