Posted March 25, 201410 yr Hello all! I have been planning a trip to the UK and beyond for many months and I am a diehard Blues fan from the States. However I have run into a bit of a snag. I planned my entire trip around the home match against Stoke as well as the away trip to Liverpool with the expectation that I would be able to obtain tickets the way that we can here in the states- either through general admission tickets or through a StubHub like site for ticket resale... however to my amazement it seems this is not possible in the UK??? It also seems as though you can't even buy tickets on Viagogo without a membership? I would have gladly paid to become a member and thus be able to secure a ticket, but amazingly they haven't been selling memberships for the past few months either! I am desperate to see my Blues play! I would love to treat someone to dinner if they could help me secure tickets to the Stoke match, or (perhaps naively =P) The home match against PSG or the away match against Liverpool, as I also planned my trip around our away match at Liverpool on April 27. You surely have to understand where he's coming from, though? Someone w one post comes on offering tickets. We've even got members of this forum having Private Messages sent to them offering PSG tix. It all is a little suspect, and people have been taken advantage of in the past...so excuse us for people being cautious

Perhaps get some facts before the negative comments. stu - if you had read the site rules when you first joined, you would have seen this: 8. We do not welcome or tolerate ticket touts. Anyone joining the site simply to sell tickets or even offer ticket exchanges will be banned. Regulars will be allowed to offer tickets as there is a trust established. It is only sensible to be cautious when someone who has only just joined the site is suddenly offering to sell you a ticket.

Interesting it does not give guidance on how trust is established I guess would be by a specific number of posts. Anyway I was only trying to help someone. My spare has now been taken - at face value may I add.
