  The Shed v Oldham May 1980, We won 3-0 but missed promotion on goal difference.

  After the game v Oldham May 1980,

 The late, great, Roy Bentley charging the keeper at The Bridge.  Are Fulham possibly the opposition ?

Monday, 30th September 1968 at 7:30pm. Greenock Morton 3-4 Chelsea. Our scorers were:Baldwin 4, Birchenall 36, Houseman 43, Tambling 83 No way was the crowd the official one give of 8,000. My old ma was at this game and always maintained that they 'forgot to add the other 10,000 !' Charlie Cooke was injured ad so didn't play against his home town team.

 

Incidentally, we played on the Saturday before this match v Morton at Burnley. We also on the Wednesday following it away v Derby !
