Both very good sides, but the prospect of Robben linking up with Ossie almost made me wet myself with excitement, so I had to go with TBB

I had Robben lined up for my team lined up for my team before TBB picked him. Reason why I ended up with the diamond formation which I don't really like.

Much prefer TTB's team but Townsend meant I had to vote against him - sorry mate!

Forget how he left us and his TV work and look at the 2 years in blue he was the Lampard of his day . Probably the best box to box midfielder in the league at the time .

Still Happy with my team the ammunition Robben and Houseman would supply to Osgood and Speedie would be awsome !!

Mad Frank and possibly Kharine may not be the best but it would be entertaining !

Both excellent teams; I'm not too fond of the diamond formation, but would up going with footballholic's lot anyways because it's hard to find a single weak spot among the outfield players. That back four, with Hollins and Essien covering, should be able to slow down even the Robben/Osgood/Houseman trio.

Had to go for 4cups, weak defence for the other lot would be the decider for me.

The pace of robben, the craft of gullit, the hustle and bussle from speedie and Ossie's finishing done it for me.

And Townsend had a fantastic engine.

4 cups would edge this one man. Little diamonds only made it through because of dempseys hair
