I'd go with Walcott. It was ridiculous on multiple levels as Dan Levene said on twitter. Firstly, saying Chelsea go for Walcott and then saying Walcott is a winger.

Can't remember if David Luiz is even able to leave? FIFA have laws against how many times you can be registered to a club in a calendar year, but i'm not sure if it's once per year or twice per year.

The Drogba and Malouda one comes from a crap website so I'm not given that much attention. In terms of a rumour which has appeared in the press, it has to be the Walcott one for me too.

It's a limit of two different clubs per calendar year, so he's useless to anyone else until the end of next January.

You do have a valid point - I always liked Gronkjaer, even if he did have a few issues with his game. I think SWP is a more appropriate comparison for Walcott, but the conclusion (don't buy him) is still the same.

Weird. I thought Walcott was pretty good last season. Wouldn't mind having him here actually though its highly unlikely.

Tbf, there was a chance of this back in January. If he didn't respond maturely, he'd probably have been out by now.
