Yeah exactly. I would advise no-one to get too excited about this. It takes a bit of time for Chelsea to agree a fee, agree terms, sign a contract and then unveil a player these days. A new signing we don't know about yet to be unveiled next week?

Announced yes, unveiled as in presented to the press and so on, no. To my knowledge he hasn't even been photographed wearing a Chelsea shirt, no.

Well then it's questionable that Romeu has been given a squad number while Lukaku hasn't and the fact that Romeu can't be unveiled in Colombia so why delay Lukaku's unveiling when the return date of Romeu is unknown. Also if it was a signing we knew about and it was only Romeu why would he say multiple players instead of just saying it was with Romeu?

I doubt AVB would be such a tease.

Because Lukaku hasn't yet been officially signed. Until the deal is finalised, Lukaku isn't our player, and can't be unveiled or even announced as such.

All I'm saying is don't expect more than two players to be unveiled. You might be pleasantly surprised yet, just don't set your heart on it.

By the way... The statement is supposedly a lie. Been told AVB wasn't even on CTV today/yesterday and the quote was picked up from Twitter. That's the latest I've heard.

The third player is Piazon I'd say. He has been training with us over the last week.

True. Right now I can hardly wait for this transfer window to close so that I can finally relax and get some peace and quiet.

That is certainly true, but he was definitely here last week. If the fact that he isn't signed hasn't stopped him training surely it doesn't stop him from being announced. Not bad for marketing purposes, three youngsters generates a bit of excitement for all of them, gives Lucas something to look forward too when he actually moves here.

Wonder if Lawro will have anything to say against our signings. He's been touting Liverpool as "signing for the future" but I bet we'll be seen (in his eyes) as stealing the brightest prospects in Europe.
