Torres rumour

Featured Replies

From a source i got this , Torres want to return to Spain , his family cant settle in London , hes already met with Abram and AVB and has said hes not hitting it off with team mates on a personal level either .

Im only the messenger on this so dont shoot me .

yeh i dont buy into this either, it will just be someone speculating about why he still isnt hitting his straps. In all his interviews he seems perfectly happy and the club would have done absolutely everything possible to help him settle.

Anyway here's hoping it is just a rumour

Who knows. Seems to be the sort of malicious thing that has just got enough to it to perhaps be true, the perfect rumour. If someone gives us our money back then I don't think anyone would be devastated to see him move, even after this short of span of time.

To be honest I can sort of buy into some of it, but i think the rumour he wants to go back to Spain and has spoken to Abram and AVB etc is bull, he wouldn't be playing unless he was 100% focused and on board etc.

If we sold him it would be at a huge loss, we wouldn't get anymore than £30m, would hate to see him leave, I still believe he has plenty to offer here despite what some may say.

Is that why he was texting Mata to come? Because he wants to leave? Ahh okay.

Not aimed at you clubhappy, just the rumour.

I was thinking of the Mata situation too , Mata being on record saying Torres was one of the reasons he joined , anyway i doubt Torres would just walk away without trying to prove himself and be regarded as a flop , i doubt hed want that to happen .

The source i got this from works for Heart fm uk .

Started the thread to check if anybody else heard the same . Its a discussion forum you idiot .

If you know anything about Torres you know this rumor is worthless. If there's an issue it may be because he may feel like he's not being used correctly. Which is the case if you know what his strengths and weaknesses are. But I highly doubt he wants to go back to Spain as a failure. And where would he go? Barca don't want him. Real Madrid is a non-starter. Atletico just bought Falcao and aren't in the CL. He didn't want to stay in Liverpool, why the hell would he join a non-CL side in Spain?

The Champions League is everything to Torres and it's one of the biggest reasons he joined Chelsea. Why would he leave now? And you think he would lobby Mata hard to join Chelsea only to leave early? Finally, Torres as a striker is made for the PL. He'll only leave after giving Chelsea a very good try, not after 6 or 12 months.

Sorry I'm not very good at posting links!

In response to a query from a Liverpool fan re Torres supposed unhappiness at Chelsea Guillem Balague tweeted (on his official account).

'not true at all. Met him today. He's sharp and looking forward to the title challenge. Not a single complaint.'

Thank you Watsamata. I knew Balague would address this rumor if it has indeed made the rounds. Say what you will about Balague but he does talk to Torres directly. I have noticed that when Torres and his camp want to set the record straight about something they go through Balague's twitter. That way Torres doesn't have to address the media directly and keeps the crap out of his site.

What I found amusing and typical is the twitterer who asked the question is a LFC fan. 1) Thought they didn't care about him anymore? 2) Even after Balague's answer that it's not true Torres regrets leaving Liverpool, the guy tweets that he believes Torres regrets leaving anyway.

I could respond to your insult but I won't lower my self to your level. You don't know me so please don't call me an idiot.
