My mrs came home from work last night & said that Ramires has donated £1,000 to her school for football kits ect, Ramires got talking to a fella & asked him if he knew of a school worthy of a £1,000 donation, the fella mentioned my mrs school & Ramires said he'll give the school a grand, nice touch that.

A very classy gesture from a very classy young man. This kind of thing happens quite often with footballers, though it rarely makes it into the news as its not really the kind of story they are after.

Well played to him. What a great player he has become as well. I remember Carlo being booed relentlessly for taking off Malouda instead of him 18 months ago. The reaction would be the opposite these days.
