No, I think he cost Manchester around 15-17 and Real around 90, so that's both his transfers.

I had to look that up because I was sure you were talking out of your a*se, but as it turns out, he did play for them. According to Wikipedia he cost £13 million. Surely that was a big fee back then?

Dont remember us ever bidding for him.... dodged a bullet their. No doubt we would have been his boyhood club if he had of signed for us.

He signed for Inter from Coventry, then Inter had a change of management.

I believe we tried to get him twice, first time he chose Dirty-dirty Leeds over us, and second time he chose The Spuds.
