The badges from that era are the only ones I love, superb!

Needless to say that the MIllwall one of the 90's was just plain wrong and I am not mad about the current one either. It's ok as it is closely based on the first one above but somehow it is just too clinical. It needs weathering a bit. That first one above is exactly how it should be. Sure I've got the old Bridge News papers with the competition in it to design that 'Millwall' badge. I'm sure the runners up were printed too. If I can dig it out I'll try and get it scanned.

I've got the 1953 badge as shown in the first post tattooed on my chest(told the mrs its the closest thing to my heart lol)

I'm the same as you regarding the new badge, its ok but the lion is too small & looks like a cartoon version if that makes sense, also the staff the lion is holding looks like a lollipop imo, shame because it could have been done so much better.

I knew the fella who designed the Millwall CFC badge, he also painted Bates a pic of CFC's history, it was a quality painting & used to hang in the old club office i'd love to get hold of it but its prob long gone now.

I couldn't agree more. I don't have tattoos but that would be the one for me, you used to see many fine lower forearm examples in the Shed in the 70's. Weren't the roses red though?

Mike,excellent choice sir,this is Chelsea's best badge ever,just quality.It's a real shame we haven't got it now.

European and FA Cup win.

46 years a blue and I never knew the two stars were to celebrate the two early 70s cup wins, well done Seven Times.
