simon_me Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) Hi there! My name is Ilnur, think it's strange for english speakers, it's Tatar name actually. I'm from Kazan, it's called third capital of Russia, by the way. I'm Chelsea fan since 2006, not too long. Sorry for my English! I like EPL at all, I like British culture, my favourite bands are Nirvana and I'm studying journalism at Kazan State Univercity If you have any questions about Russia - feel free to ask. moi Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Hi Ilnur! Don't apologise for your English - it is far better than my Russian! Let's hope we have a win today for your first day as a ShedEnder!
mbh Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Hi Ilnur, no do not apologize for your English, as my Russian consists of niet.
simon_me Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 Udar pavarottam! (Or how it's spelt) haha, great. Where did you hear that?
simon_me Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) Hi Ilnur, no do not apologize for your English, as my Russian consists of niet. But Russian is not an international language. Russian is hard and beatiful at the same time Edited November 7, 2012 by simon_me

simon_me Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 (edited) I watch lots of matches trough the net, and most of the good quality streams are Russian. you mean you watch matches with russian commentators? piracy is distributed here. In all spheres - music, video and so on. For example in VK (russian facebook) you can easily listen to any music you want. There are terrabytes of it and nobody cares Edited November 9, 2012 by simon_me
Phillip Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Hello, Ilnur. I like your name, very interesting. What is your thoughts about Shaktar Donestk? They seem to be one of the best teams that most people know nothing about. Well, us Chelsea fans learned a lot about that team recently.

It's not surprising for me that Shaktar is a great team. It's owner gives a lot of money for transfers - they buy cool footbalers (Srna is playing about 10 years for them, Mhitoryan is very talented young player and so on). In Ukraine they won 18 from 18 matches and 80% became a champion. Their coach is very clever and working in Donetsk for a long time. But they're from Ukraine and I'm from Russia, don't confuse :) Edited November 10, 2012 by simon_me
simon_me Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 They seem to be one of the best teams that most people know nothing about Well, they're great, but don't have any Champions League experience. If you remember, they were 4th in group stage last year. I remember it just because of Zenit, which was in the same group
Phillip Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Oh, I won't confuse Ukraine and Russia. Two very different countries. If Prypiat still a dangerous place to go to, due to high radiation? (Sorry, another Ukraine question).

They believe that it is not. Edited November 11, 2012 by simon_me

CFCCAN Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Welcome - ПриветÑтвовать - I think that means welcome in Russian....got hooked up with a Russian woman once, she was from St Petersburg until her ex came after me...she couldn't cook but the pole dancing was OK All we ate was pickled herrings and beets together with some borscht..how the f**k do you eat that sh*te...no offence meant....anyway enjoy the intellectual conversations, occasional rollicking, piss taking and banter that goes on around here, despite differences of opionions everyone in here is pretty cool and loyal CFC fans...watch out for the occasional troll...best of luck looking forward to your posts and insight from a Russian perspective..
simon_me Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 Welcome - ПриветÑтвовать - I think that means welcome in Russian.... Thanks! Trolls? You didn't see russian Internet, i suppose. They're much more trolls than here :)
simon_me Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 All we ate was pickled herrings and beets together with some borscht.. really? It spells borscht? There are just 4 letters in russian for it - борщ I it's not my favourite, but it's eatable :)
