A given, but I wonder what it means on the ground in terms of personnel, tactics and approach...?

This. We have some fantastic young talent coming through that with the right management and more importantly stability, we could possibly be the dominant force in Britain and maybe even Europe for years to come. 

 

I'm sick of trying to buy the premier league each year. Lets build a team for the future not just for a season.

I'd say generally his key objective will be to win every game.

Well yeah, I can see where he's going with this, because for the past two years we haven't made CL qualification easy for ourselves. The season before last we didn't even make the top FIVE and only got into the CL cos we won the trophy. Last season we scraped into third on the last day and only just secured fourth in the penultimate game of the season. 

 

I dunno about anyone else, but I could do without those kind of heart attacks every season. I'd rather be securing the Premier League trophy by March.
