April 2, 201412 yr Author Gutting defeat for Bromley last night in The Kent Senior Cup Semi-Final. With nearly a complete reserve/academy/development side playing, they pushed Dover (who had a full strength side out) all the way and incredibly came from 1-0 down to pull it back to 2-1 with goals in the 76th and 78th minute. It stayed like that until the 84th minute, when they equalised and then got a winner with almost the last kick of the match. Shows what a funny game football is. Dover hammered us 4-0 in the league in our own backyard a few weeks ago. Good news is Eastleigh dropped points. We may still be in with a shout for the title! Edited April 2, 201412 yr by BromleyBlue
April 4, 201412 yr Author Our annual run of bad form. We were 11 points ahead at one point but at the time Eastleigh had 3 games in hand so not as emphatic as you may think.
April 6, 201412 yr Our annual run of bad form. We were 11 points ahead at one point but at the time Eastleigh had 3 games in hand so not as emphatic as you may think. Same with Dulwich and Wealdstone, before you knew it they were ten points ahead and still two games in hand. Good crowd again yesterday against Finchley & Wingate, 668. April 6, 201412 yr Author Same with Dulwich and Wealdstone, before you knew it they were ten points ahead and still two games in hand. Good crowd again yesterday against Finchley & Wingate, 668. Photo by editor of urban75 blog. The scene of a great Bromley memory. Last season we beat Wingate and Finchley in a penalty shoot-out to reach The London Senior Cup Final. 0-0 after 90 minutes, but in extra-time we came back from a goal down with 10 minutes remaining, eventually winning on penalties. There was a crowd of 75 that night so no where near as your attendance yesterday.
April 6, 201412 yr Author On a separate note, it looks as if Bromley had a goal ruled out yesterday as the ball was deemed not to of crossed the line. The photo evidence however, looks to show otherwise. In the end we lost 1-0 to pretty much end our title hopes.
April 15, 201412 yr Congratulations to Wealdstone tonight for winning the Ryman League and promotion to the Conference South. Hopefully Dulwich can join them from the pay-offs.
April 16, 201412 yr Author If we don't go up we will be playing them next season. Maybe Dulwich as well!
April 16, 201412 yr Hitchin Town should be safely mid-table now. Not bad considering we were promoted last year and our top scorer (and top scorer in the division) left.

April 16, 201412 yr John Frendo. 44 goals for us last season. Edited April 16, 201412 yr by Zeta Orionis
April 22, 201412 yr Last day of the Conference Premier this Saturday so will go and see my local team, Welling United. Game kicks-off at 5.30pm - the same time as United v Norwich so won't be able watch the TV and laugh at the fun and games at Old Trafford.
April 22, 201412 yr An arsehole loosener coming up at Dulwich this Saturday. A great 1-0 away win at Hampton & Richmond Borough yesterday, another 200+ Hamlet fans in attendance, means a win next Saturday against Kingstonian will get Dulwich into the play offs. All sorts of configuatations but a win will mean a play off at Bognor who Dulwich have beaten and lost to in recent years in similar games. http://i.imgur.com/mqlZR1F.png?1?6472
April 27, 201412 yr It wasn't to be, a 1-1 draw and AFC Hornchurch mean't Hamlet slipped out of the play-off places for the first time this season. A huge crowd of just under 1400 saw the game, a magnificent achievement. The area is buzzing and next season can't come quick enough. Photo by Partizan Dulwich on the Urban75 blog.
April 28, 201412 yr Went to see Welling United v Southport on Saturday. Welling won 4-3. It was 3-1 to Southport at half-time. Great comeback by Welling in the second-half. Players stepped up a gear. Welling's second goal was a great free-kick. Only downside was that the bar in the ground was closed.
April 28, 201412 yr Hitchin finished comfortably mid-table. Not bad at all considering we were promoted last season.
April 29, 201412 yr Bromley's play-off first leg same night as the Atletico game :( That would have been the same for Dulwich Hamlet if they'd got in, not to be though and I can go to the Bridge tomorrow without worry. Good luck to Bromley and any others with their non-league team in a play off. Cray Wanderers were relegated so no trip to Hayes Lane next season.

Looking on the bright side at least the Norwich game was moved to Sunday because it means I can go to Bromley's second leg on Saturday and Chelsea on Sunday :D Cray have been doomed all season but their biggest worry is staying in existance. Im pretty sure their fans will be happy playing in Ryman South next season. Edited April 29, 201412 yr by BromleyBlue
April 29, 201412 yr I went to Carshalton Ath v Enfield the other week, only reason being was we had freebies given out to local schools, I refuse to give our c**t of an owner any money. What a sorry state of affairs they are now, we lost 4.1 were relegated(long time coming) behind the goal we were attacking where normally we'd have 30/40 fans all singing, flags ect turned in to about 6 people(in the 2nd half) 2 oaps, 4 kids kicking a ball & 2 teens. Going in before the game there was about 10 Cton Ath fans outside, all are banned for no reason whatsoever, our owner is killing the club, we've got great youth teams right down to 4/5 yr olds, womens & girls teams which they have won awards for, the 1st team the owner just doesn't care, sooner he goes the better. One thing I found interesting was our fans now have a link with a German non league side called Victoria Koln, some of our fans have been over to watch them & last week, some of their fans came over for our game at Kingstonian, in the morning the fans asked if they could have a quick look at our ground, the owner refused, even after the banned lot said they wouldn't go anywhere near the ground but to just let the Germans in for a look, he still refused, prick. Have a look at our forum, you can see for yourselves just what a state the club are in http://carshaltonathleticfans.myfastforum.org/forum1.php Edited April 29, 201412 yr by Carshalton Blue

Have a look at our forum, you can see for yourselves just what a state the club are in http://carshaltonathleticfans.myfastforum.org/forum1.php This is why regulations are needed against these type of people from running football clubs. People like Carshalton, Hull, and Cardiffs owners are ruining them. Disgrace.I saw Carshalton play once. It was this season back in September. A 0-0 draw away to Cray Wanderers. There in a state as well due to their financial troubles and lack of long-term stadium. On a separate note Bromley have their second leg of their play-off semi-final at home to Ebbsfleet tomorrow (Saturday). We are looking to turn a 4-0 deficit around, so we need all the support we can get. Chelsea not playing until Sunday, so If any Chelsea fans could come down and lend their support that would be awesome. :D (kick off is 3PM) Edited May 2, 201412 yr by BromleyBlue
May 3, 201412 yr Originally from Wallington, so been to Carshalton Athletic a few times, shame what is happening there. The owner actually installed HIMSELF as manager a couple seasons ago. And we're supposed to be a rich man's play thing.

May 3, 201412 yr Random fact of the day: Hitchin Town were one of only a handful of clubs involved in the first ever FA cup in 1871/72. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1871%E2%80%9372_FA_Cup Edited May 3, 201412 yr by Zeta Orionis
May 3, 201412 yr Author Bromley win 1-0 but lose 4-1 on aggregate. Superb game and atmosphere though!
