What do you think the Premier League team of the year should be this season?

I think its hard to call for sone positions but from Chelsea I definitely feel Haz, JT and Apzi. Think Matic deserves to be in but maybe because he's only been here since Jan they may over look him

Others definitely in will be From Liverpool: Suarez, Sturridge, Gerrard (even though I don't think that woukd be on merit). From City Toure and maybe Negredo but I think he'd only get in in place if Sturridge and I don't think that would be right.

As far as keepers are concerned I think it would have to be between Cech, Hart and Mignolet.

Defence: I think most of Chelsea's defenders should be in the team since Chelsea has the best defensive record. It was difficult to leave Ivanovic out but Coleman has had a very good season for Everton. Cech has been the best and most consistent GK this season. Mignolet started the season well but has made quite a few mistakes. The ManC defence has looked fairly shaky this season, so can't have them.  The Mertesacker and Koscielny partnership has looked solid for most of the season, but has crumbled against the top sides.

 

Midfield: Hazard and Toure have to be in there. I think Ramsey should be in the side. He was having a brilliant season until his injury. Arsenal's troubles started after he got injured. Tough choosing the fourth midfielder. Can't have Gerrard in there. I think Lallana should be in the mix for team of the year. He has been one of the top performers for a very good Southampton side.

 

Forwards: With almost 50 goals between them, the top two goalscorers Suarez and Sturridge have to be the two strikers.

 

With a 433 formation I would perhaps take out Lallana for Rooney. Rooney has at times been the only reason ManU aren't further down the table.

I'd probably put Rooney in over Ramsey, Ramsey was great before the injury but to be out for so long I think he'll be pipped as with these votes they tend to go to players who either are consistent for more than half the season or end the season really well.

GK – Not sure really, there hasn’t been a standout keeper this year in my opinion. Cech has been solid so I might go with him.

 

RB – Ivanovic or Coleman, I’d give it to Coleman to be honest.

 

CB – 2 from Terry, Cahill, Koscielny and Distin. I’d go with Terry and Koscielny.

 

LB – Dave, Dave and Dave. Honourable mentions to Luke Shaw and Leighton Baines.

 

CM – Toure and Gerrard. Ramsey would be in ahead of Gerrard but isn’t due to his injury. Henderson’s close.

 

AM’s – Hazard, Suarez and Aguero. I know the latter two are strikers strictly speaking but on performance they deserve to be in. Lallana’s not too far off.

 

CF – Sturridge.
