we need more homegrown player...

I thought i read that Lukaku doesnt count as a home grown, I think we just missed out on it by a few months.

I agree though we do need some more home grown players in the team. Maybe we will sign Shaw or Barkley.

Blackman falls into the U21 category.

Not sure about lukaku. But we have a few options to get easily enough for next season. Obviously, terry, Cahill, lampard and Blackman are. But we also have PVA, ake and kalas as foreign players that count as homegrown, possibly lukaku aswell. On top of that we have players like Bertrand, chalobah, Bamford and baker who could all do a squad player job if needed. Then with the likelihood of us getting barkley, that's another player. Having said all this, I do still think we should buy English If we can. I prefer to see a starting 11 out there with a few English starting.

I wouldnt have thought PvA would count anymore either as he has spend so long away from us. Not sure if he spend enough time with us before going out on loan. I could be wrong though.

He spent 4 years at chelsea whilst u21 (a few years at youth level)

 

Bamford, Chalobah Baker and co wont have to be registered

 

McEachran may have to, theres another.

I think McEechran will be out on loan or sold/let go this summer.

With Lampard possible being released I hope we sign Barkley as a home-grown player to play alongside Matic.

 

There are plenty of options, JT, Cahill will obviously be there and players like Blackman, Bamford, Ake(?) Baker, Chalobah can be in the squad
