I wish we were coming to Australia for the pre-season but sadly it already looks done and dusted according to news reports down here. Chelsea was said to be in the mix to come down back in August but in the end it will be Real Madrid, Manchester City and AS Roma playing in a round robin competition.

 

In a glimmer of hope that we could still come down is that Liverpool is going to be playing two matches in Australia in Brisbane and Adelaide separate from this round robin competition so maybe that demonstrates that the club could organise its own pre-season friendly matches down under but I don't think it's going to happen this summer.

 

I'm holding out that the boys will finally come out one of these summers (or winters if you live in Australia).

I don't want to be amongst Liverpool fans at Suncorp...that sounds like hell. I want to support Brisbane.

No long trips please, I think we're benefitting from not travelling to Asia, America etc unlike Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd etc... Then again £££££££.

actually there was another edition of the ICC in 2014, which manure won. The manure vs RM smashed the previous attendance record for a footie match here in the States. The crazy fact was the previous record was from the 1984 Olympics & not the 1994 World Cup. We are a very mixed up people here in the States ;)

Turns out there are two editions this summer. One in Australia and other one stateside.

I would definitely go too!!

I was lucky enough to see them play the MLS All-Stars at Toyota Park in 2006.  That was literally right after I began bleeding Chelsea Blue.
