Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice

Featured Replies

I said it *should be* the shortest fight ever. I mean, if Superman can survive a star going supernova, then Batman really shouldn't have anything that can harm Superman. Because he's got all those powers and is pretty much invulnerable, he's the most boring superhero there is.

^ Yes but how does he win? Does Batman have Kryptonite in his fists?

There was a lot of prep that went into it!

But a consistent story arc is that Superman entrusts Bruce Wayne/Batman with a Kryptonite ring because he is the only person he trusts that could stop should he need to and would also be able to emotionally detach himself.

Basically.

He could pay Superman to drop the fight. That would make for a pretty boring movie though.

Or there could be some Indecent Proposal type scenario where Moore, Redford and Harrelson are replaced by Lane, Batman and Superman.

Ah, I knew they had to do some cheap trick like that to give Batman the edge. I've always thought Superman might've been interesting if they'd done a storyline something similar to Doctor Manhattan in Watchmen. I mean a story that looks at what happens to someone who is pretty much omnipotent.

There's a pretty cool Superman story I read recently called Red Son.

It's an alternate timeline where it explores the idea of if Superman had crash landed in Russia rather than America. He basically becomes the King of the World.

I seem to recall Batman builds a Kryptonite suit not 100% though, Personally not too excited for this movie Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are both very limited actors imo.

'Batman vs Superman: An Indecent Proposal'? I like that.

True, they are, but you don't need to be Daniel Day-Lewis to act in a superhero movie!
