December 3, 201510 yr Don't watch the Trailer 2 that came out today for Batman vs Superman unless you want the whole f**king movie spoiled for you. Well that just saved me 15 pounds...
December 3, 201510 yr Author Don't watch the Trailer 2 that came out today for Batman vs Superman unless you want the whole f**king movie spoiled for you. I watched it and I wouldn't say it spoiled much at all.
December 3, 201510 yr I watched it and I wouldn't say it spoiled much at all. I think there are two different onea
December 3, 201510 yr It spoiled a twist that most comic fans saw coming, btw this trailer tonally is not how the film will be. The tone they used is simply to draw in the kids/families as it's airing before Star Wars. The first full trailer is how this film will feel. I am stoked and wish I could jump to March now.
December 4, 201510 yr Don't watch the Trailer 2 that came out today for Batman vs Superman unless you want the whole f**king movie spoiled for you. Yeah it looked woeful. Not looking forward to this film tbh
March 22, 201610 yr Author First reactions to Batman V Superman are in, and they are GOOD. On par with the first Avengers film apparently, http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/batman-vs-superman-first-reactions-dc-film-positive-wonder-woman-a6945461.html
March 22, 201610 yr Quite want to see this one. Haven't seen any Superman films, but I liked the Batman trilogy
March 24, 201610 yr saw it yesterday, it was very disappointing, pacing all over the place that it made the movie felt.. weird (150 minutes long but really doesn't feel like it) , predictable plot (especially if you watched the second trailer) positives are affleck as batman was awesome, i like eisenberg as lex eventho lots of people don't like his unique version, great action sequence again style over substance from snyder, just give the justice league director seat to affleck 6.5/10
March 24, 201610 yr Author Seeing it in IMAX tomorrow at 10AM! Can't wait. Edited March 24, 201610 yr by Blueblur
March 24, 201610 yr Been getting generally negative reviews but I'm going tonight with an open mind and a love for batman so hoping its not that bad lol
March 24, 201610 yr Ok I can see why its getting some of the criticism it has But damn did ben affleck knock it out of the park. I want more affleck batman.
March 25, 201610 yr Ok I can see why its getting some of the criticism it has But damn did ben affleck knock it out of the park. I want more affleck batman. Who wins?
March 25, 201610 yr Zach Snyder? So it's probably another speed ramp and super slo-mo effects show reel which may contain traces of plot and characters. To be fair, though... Watchmen had some pretty good sequences like the one with "Times They are a Changing" as the music. The awkward "romantic" sequence with "Hallelujah"... Not so much. As a whole, it's the best he's done, but it just made me want to read the book again.
March 25, 201610 yr Keaton is still the best Batman. Yeah, at least he didn't growl like Bale. The Dark Knight was alright, but both Tim Burton's Batman movies are much better than those other two movies in Nolan's trilogy. Heck, the Batman movie with Adam West as Batman was more entertaining than The Dark Knight Rises.
March 25, 201610 yr Author Just seen it. No spoilers: I think it has been unfairly treated by the critics; it's a fantastic action-romp. Affleck is a fantastic Batman, Eisenberg plays Lex with pschotic glee and Cavill is good as Supes. There isn't much of a plot but there are so many epic moments in this and the action is very well done. It is very serious though, with only a few moments of levity. It's mostly set-up for the upcoming Justice League film, which is why it is very disjointed. But all in all, I had a blast watching this! It's so great to be able to see Batman and Superman in the same film. 7/10
March 25, 201610 yr It's mostly set-up for the upcoming Justice League film, which is why it is very disjointed. This is what annoys me about some of these movies. They're too busy setting up a franchise to worry about making a solid movie.
March 26, 201610 yr Going to see this today, not as hyped up as I am for Civil War but then this hasn't got Chris Evans in it. Still, looking forward to it.
March 26, 201610 yr Getting hammered on Web sites like rotten tomato and metacritic so don't expect too much gem.
March 26, 201610 yr I'm going into it with an open mind but yes... the reviews haven't been kind and again I have to ask... Ben Affleck?! The trailer didn't exactly increase my expections either. Anyway, the last film I saw at the cinema was London has Fallen, therefore this could be over 2 hours of pure sh*t and still be better than that monstrosity.
