No I said if Bayern were to offer a huge sum of money (like with PSG and David Luiz) I wouldn't be TOO unhappy about the fact that he would leave, and eventually kalas was would become his successor. As for a replacement right after Ivan left, I said we could move Azpi back into his natural RB and Let Luis play LB. With Kalas getting some games in between (Like with Zouma) this season.

Zouma is currently in the first team squad and is actually been given minutes. Kalas played one match when Jose wanted to rest players, he's now out on loan at Boro and tbh he's not been that impressive. Kalas may succeed Ivan but it won't be for a lot of years, so right now I'd like to keep hold of Ivan. You're talking about selling Ivan now because Kalas could succeed him but he's nowhere near ready to do that.

As a defender the best thing you can do is be solid, like Bertrand has at Southampton. Kalas hasn't done that at Boro in the Champiomship, he's been OK but he's not been exactly solid.

Zouma has actually broke into the team on merit, displacing Cahill for a period as well as being picked to play in a new position in a League Cup Final.

 

Kalas, while a prospect, has only played when other players were being rested.

 

He is a long way behind Zouma and even further away from breaking into our team ahead of Ivanovic.
