Okay so once we finish this round up we'll do the draw and then begin the actual matches. For those who don't know the way this works: we each set up our team on one of those graphics as above. You write a few paragraphs (can be as long as you want, but doesn't have to be overly elaborate) on your tactics, style of play, player profiles, etc. to support your line-up. A thread is created where both the teams and their write-ups are listed, and then it's open to everyone on the forum to vote on who would win in a hypothetical scenario. At the end of the voting period - which I'm thinking will be set at two days again, if anyone thinks it should be different please say so - whoever has the most votes progresses onto the next round (where there'll be another draw), and so on.

 

At the end of the game, should you win, you take one of the opponent's players to add to your team. I'll ask someone to do the draw for us; in the meantime prepare your teams as you wish, and once Jonty picks his final player and both teams are ready we can begin. Please ask for clarification on any point ASAP.

Ok, have given it some thought, and seeing as FC jumped the gun, I don't want to be re-active, Milner is a really good shout though :)

 

I'll bolster the defense a bit and in keeping with the look's policy I currently have at the back I have decided to get in Steve Bold ... Ginola has agreed to give him lessons on hair maintenance - he may have to change his name though

I'll take Tony Yeboah just in case I need someone to score a late volley from around the 30 yard range.

And my second pick will be a defensive reinforcement when looking to shut out games so for that I will take a guy described as a "Rolls Royce of a defender" Ledley King. Such a shame injuries took their toll on him. Have a look at his recovery tackle on Robben covered so much ground to time the tackle to perfection.
