Profit on Loans?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a breakdown of how we have made the loan market work for us in terms of profits made?

I know we made some cash back on Lukaku, De Bruyne, T.Hazard from the top of my head but is there a fair few more we have made money on?

(These stats are from last season)

Even without counting player sales, we made £9.1m just by having our players out on loan. Bear in mind the majority (if not all) of the loaning clubs will be paying the players' wages, and we will probably be receiving some sort of loan fee. This year, with even more players on loan, [i imagine] we are making even more.

In addition to that, bear in mind that this summer alone, we've made £14.1m from the sales of Thorgan Hazard, Josh McEachran, Gael Kakuta, and Oriol Romeu.

Hopefully we inserted a sell-on clause for Josh so we can expect a decent cut when Man City buy him from Brentford next season for £80M.

I still have faith, even though I don't think he's yet started a game for Brentford!
