November 3, 201510 yr Chelsea reject Monaco offer to buy jose mourinho's remaining contract http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3302562/Chelsea-reject-shock-35m-bid-Monaco-pressure-manager-Jose-Mourinho-owner-Roman-Abramovich-demanding-double-fee.html
November 4, 201510 yr Ill tell you why this sounds bull to me. Because if I'm moncao, and I know anything about football and or roman I would be pretty comfortbale to just wait and see what happens. Chances are id get Jose on a free in about 2 weeks
November 4, 201510 yr Monaco have also been trying to shift all their top earners for the past few years. Why would they spend a fortune now after letting most of the talent go?
November 4, 201510 yr Monaco have also been trying to shift all their top earners for the past few years. Why would they spend a fortune now after letting most of the talent go? One of the contract clauses would probably be NOT to take Falcao with him.
November 4, 201510 yr Monaco have also been trying to shift all their top earners for the past few years. Why would they spend a fortune now after letting most of the talent go? Was actually looking for someone to find a flaw in my logic, not re-infornce it :)
November 4, 201510 yr Monaco have come and said its a load of sh*t, shouldnt this type of thing be in the rumours / bullsh*t section to begin with! ;) Edited November 4, 201510 yr by Zola
November 4, 201510 yr Ill tell you why this sounds bull to me. Because if I'm moncao, and I know anything about football and or roman I would be pretty comfortbale to just wait and see what happens. Chances are id get Jose on a free in about 2 weeksbecause if I'm MUFC and Mourinho becomes free, I fire LVG and hire MourinhoBecause if I'm PSG, I fire Lauren Blanc and hire Jose Mourinho Because if I'm Juventus, I fire Allegri and hire Jose Mourinho Because if I'm Bayern Munich and Pep isn't staying, I inquire into Mourinho Etc etc, you see where I'm going? A few bad months doesn't change the facts of Mourinho's career. He wins trophies everywhere he manages and takes teams to a new level. Everywhere. Only some Chelsea and Arsenal fans seem to have forgotten this.
November 4, 201510 yr Monaco have also been trying to shift all their top earners for the past few years. Why would they spend a fortune now after letting most of the talent go? You mean they sold people for massive profits? I wonder why. Maybe because any player has a price and few of there's had said price met. Maybe because they did spend huge on players and felt they didn't get value on their return. Lack of trophies. Maybe they have seen a manager whose won the title in every league he has played, multiple CL trophies at different clubs ( and taking teams to a higher level in the CL) . A manager who always has success with every squad of players he has worked with. Maybe they see that it's wiser to back a manager that is a proven winner in any circumstances rather than a bunch of expensive players. Maybe they see an opportunity because they hope others forget the cost of not adhering to that last sentence. Maybe they worry that Roman has done what some here havent, and has actually learned from past mistakes. That aside, people here claim the payout is what is preventing Mourinho's head from rolling.....how can it not be logical that a cash flush club wouldn't be willing to pay that cost to secure a proven winner? If you want to persist with the no way Roman would reject it, the far more credible path is because he knew Mourinho wouldn't agree personal terms with Monaco..... and I'd believe that because if he leaves here, not many clubs will be unavailable to him even if he has to wait out a season.
