Firstly if this is in the wrong place, apologies and feel free to move it etc.

This game is live on BT sport 1 later this evening I believe, so it'll be a good chance to see the promising youngsters in action and to see if any are in with a shout of first team football next season

Also, this game is free entry at Old Trafford, so if there's any mancunian Chelsea fans like myself who fancy a good game on a Monday night head on down. Will mean sitting amongst united fans most likely but it's a small price to pay. I've included the link below to United's webpage for those interested( just click)

Was a belting goal by palmer, and hes caused them all kinds of problems. Just made Jones look a Muppet. Utd have a lot if experience out there but our young uns are well on top

Surprised to see Islam Feruz involved. Pretty sure his days here are numbered and what a waste of talent that was.

Aina, Abraham and Palmer looked a real class above for most of that which wasn't too surprising. So long as Aina stays on next year it would be nice to see all three involved either at the tail-end of this season or in pre-season.

Phil Jones looks a bit porky though.

Sitting in the stands it was evident that Jones and Young were well out of shape and fitness. Having said that we were better in the first half and should've grabbed a few

He really did make Jones look the absolute donkey he is. How has he played at International level FFS?

That's the best I've seen Palmer play. He really ran the Utd defenders ragged at times and looked a decent No.10, although he is guilty of over-playing it at times.

Yeah should've slipped Abraham in second half, but tried to beat the last defender.

I thought dabo was really exciting as well, and aina always impresses. I think the club should give aina some 1st team action and hope it persuades him to sign a new deal.

Casey Palmer has compiled a veritable portfolio of spectacular goals over the last couple of seasons and he’s got an assuredness about him that is reminiscent of Ossie at his intimidating best. Typical examples from last night -

a) his goal celebration right in front of the ManU supporters that led to him receiving a torrent of boos, which he seemingly lapped up.

b) a nutmeg on Phil Jones that, if those selfsame fans had missed the first time, he repeated almost immediately afterwards.

c) an outrageous rabona cross delivered at pace which should have led to a goal, such was the execution and sheer quality of it.

d) a slaloming run from deep past two defenders (Jones was one of them) as if they weren’t there. Sadly the downside was that it ended with a somewhat selfish shot off target, instead of a much more obvious pass to put a team mate clean through on goal - I’m guessing Conte would have gone berserk over this, especially as we would have got a precious and well deserved second goal at a crucial time.

mate I was there and almost burst out laughing seeing the reaction of the united fans to Palmers celebration. Yes it was over the top and arrogant by Palmer but my god grown men screaming abuse at him when surrounded by kids and women (who were in the majority due to the free entry) was hilarious.
