Put up a great performance and took both his goals well (especially the first). Might have scored a 3rd if he stayed on a little longer.

Pedro for me

The Nigerian Messi for me, just for the footwork leading up to Ruben's goal. 

Pato, because the choice may never occur again, plus he took his penalty with aplomb, set up pedros goal, and was instrumental in Pedros 1st..

I like the Nigerian Pirlo moniker better - btw I thought RLC was our MOTM - the villains must have felt that way too judging by their nasty challenges on him

Mikel and Pedro were standouts, Miazga had a fine debut.

 

Baba is about 5 or 6/10 defensively again and never seen him play any better than that.

Courtois fumbled the ball once every 2 times he had to make a save on average, it's like he's doing it on purpose.

 

Pato though, judging him based on one game is premature but his movement and passing really fits in with our attacking players, he might have a future here after all.

Pedro here though Cesc/Mikel were both very good (though thanks to Villa's reluctance to press). Pato/RLC were good too but not quite MOTM for me, hopefully RLC starts v Swansea.
