On this day in 1995 when Rangers beat Hibs 7-0. Gazza was booked for 'showing' the red card to the ref, Dougie Smith. Smith had dropped the card moments earlier and Gazza was returning the card and thought he'd make a joke of it. Smith didn't see the humour. Lots of complaints even from Hibs players. Smith had obviously left his sense of humour at home.
