Was a great result and performance yesterday. A very one sided game. I am of course biased!

Agreed. Joe Jordan was a ‘ no holds barred striker’. He was a player who you would most definitely want in your team, rather than playing against you.
I remember reading that Phil Thompson at his best, back in the mid 70s - early 80s hated playing against Jordan.
This was  for both Liverpool and England.

Dixie Dean of Everton shaking hands with Sam Cowan of Man City before the FA Cup Final at Wembley on  29th April 1933.

 The 1933 final was the first where the players, including goalkeepers, were issued numbers for identification. Everton won 3-0, with Deans scoring two of their goals.
