Alonso wants him apparently. 78 million quid is the price.Very poor group, Turkey should have done better.
1 hour ago1 hr Despite Simon Jordan crowing over the fate of Scotland, it still remains a fact that despite England qualifying and playing in more tournaments than Scotland, we only have just one 60 year old trophy to show for it ..BUT, will a German manager, and our top goalscorer playing for a German club, be able to bring it home ??

(According to the magic 8 ball). Problem is the German manager built the team around the bloke who plays in Germany and he didnt make any contingency plans to play a system other than that and he failed to pick Cole Palmer . . .because he is a div.

1 hour ago1 hr Only a handful of games have stood out so far, thought Ecuador were good value for the win last night. It was an enjoyable game, USA have also been a fun watch, England playing like a Tuchel side, Enjoyed watching Morroco and the Dutch look like they might fold in the later stages of the tournament. Its not really got going yet imo... Looking forward to the knock out rounds tbh.

I see people saying the likes of Spain, France or Argentina won't play like that so it won't be a problem, but it will because it also shows that England are lacking that extra little bit of something special when they really need it or will miss a big chance that those teams will put away (Kane smacking a shot over the bar from 5 yards out for example)That England side looks easily rattled too. Konsa looks very shaky defensively, Bellingham losses his head too often, the Arsenal players start looking at the ref for help, Pickford panics too often. I see more weaknesses than strengths in that England team.

Usually these final games of the groups provide it, but we won't get that now because of the changes to the format.
