Apparently we've signed rangers kid Billy Gilmour, rated as the best young Scottish player of his generation. Can our rangers friends give us a quick summary of him?

He thinks he's bloody Cesc, head up looking for a pass, calm and assured on the ball,

It's hard to tell really. He was promoted to the first team squad at just 16 but i think that was an attempt to hold onto him. Has been sponsored by Adidas already. Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern and almost every prem team were interested in him so there must be something there. 

He is a classic no.10 playing off the striker(s) however he also looked comfortable sitting in deep midfield for Scotland. He looked head and shoulders above everyone else in his age group. Takes the ball into feet and always looks to turn and face defenders rather than simply passing back. Has an eye for a pass and his control is excellent. Would like to see him get into the box more and get on the scoresheet in the mould of a Joe Cole type but hes still just 15 and the ball is at his feet.

Hopefully with better youth players around him and world class coaching he can develope. Gutted to have lost a young talent but glad he went to Chelsea.

Let's hope he isn't "the new Islam Feruz ..." :-)
