November 3, 20177 yr Yep, my friend! Successful and always and everywhere a man of the people! The fans gonna love him!

I wonder what my friend @Boyne thinks about Preud'homme? @carrickblue I remember him as a player but haven't kept up with his managerial career so am not sure what to think. I saw a rumour this morning that Derek McInnes could be appointed early next week. A good result yesterday. An impressive card display before kick-off.
November 20, 20177 yr A disappointing result on Saturday. However, a wonderful and moving reception for Fernando Ricksen. So sad to see him suffering from ALS (Motor Neuron Disease). Looking at pictures of him on the touchline at Ibrox showed what the reception meant to him. His illness puts football into perspective.
December 4, 20177 yr Two great wins over Aberdeen. Always nice to beat them. Hopefully the start of a good run and sets them up nicely for the game on 30 December at Septic Park.
December 9, 20177 yr Author Well having watched Chelsea's woeful performance at West Ham, the long suffering Rangers fans amongst us now have to get through a home game v Ross County. In a week when the club was rejected by Derek McInnes you have to think it can't get much worse, come on Rangers!
December 11, 20177 yr Good to see the 'Gers beat Ross County on Saturday. Made up a bit for our result at the Pikeys home. Will be a tough game against Hibs. Hope the 'Gers beat them to annoy Popcorn Teeth.
December 13, 20177 yr Author Four wins in a row for the Gers - happy days, oul yellow teeth's greetin'
December 17, 20177 yr I haven't watched the footage of the game but by all accounts it was a shambolic performance from the 'Gers. A win would have been great after Aberdeen won. But not all doom and gloom. Septic were thumped 4-0 today by Hearts.
December 22, 20177 yr Author So nearly 2 months after ditching Pedro, the Rangers board plump for Graeme Murty for the remainder of the season. This probably means they were unable to attract anyone else as much as it show some satisfaction with what GM has done over the last 6 weeks. You get the occasional moan about the Chelsea board on the Shedend, usually about the lack of new signings etc...I can imagine the constant outcry on here if the Chelsea board performed like the Rangers board! Still, it's important Rangers fans get behind GM and the team, some sort of positive result against the Tarriers in a couple of weeks' time would give everyone a lift.
December 29, 20177 yr Author Hard to muster any optimism for tomorrow's Old Firm. If the Gers can avoid getting hammered that'll be a positive. A draw would be good, a Rangers win would be amazing. It could be a tough watch.

I won't be able to watch the whole game as will be travelling to the Chelsea game. Hope to watch bits of the game, depends on which pub we go to. A draw would be good. If we win, I think I'll be drunk for several days. WATP

I think we shocked them and the hom crowd wasn't happy at all. Heads held high after that
December 30, 20177 yr Rangers were excellent, really took the game to them and fully deserved to win. Tavernier was outstanding, best player out there by a mile.
December 30, 20177 yr Unfortunately I didn't see any of the game but saw a few updates. A great result. More than I hoped for. Always nice to get something from their place. @Larky Blue What was Curly's like? I bet the place was bouncing.

I saw some highlights on the news. Must try and watch extended highlights later today. As you say, if only they could play like that against the smaller teams. I think I know who Smiggy is. Think the last Scotland v England game I went to at Hampden was in 1982. I must get up to Larkhall next year. It's a while since I've been up. Means I can also nip into the Bleachfields. Have seen some of the food it produces and looks great. Did you see that Nottingham Forest sacked Warburton. Had a quick look on Follow Follow and most of the fans are happy about that. The Bleachfield is doing well, next to Curlys as well,we'll have a pint or two when you come up.

March 4, 20187 yr Author No one's been posting in here for a while and in the meantime Rangers have quietly gone on a decent run and look as though they're beginning to develop a bit more consistency and a greater threat in attack. Hoping to avoid giving them the kiss of death but I expect them to get past Falkirk today and then we've Celtic at Ibrox next Sunday Come on the Gers!
