Definitely the B team playing with a touch of A - there were players out there last night that are ok as sub's but playing collectively they are a disaster.  Last night the back four were shambolic at times.  I did feel for Cahill at one point who was at least trying to organise the back four especially when we were defending a deep in our half free kick when, despite Cahill's insistent pleadings for Christenson to get into position, the lad seemed to turn deaf and was shuffling around like a headless chicken. 

Barcley & RLC looked hapless imo - the former at least tried but the latter looked like he was a fish out of water and knew it and promptly gave up trying.  I've a long way to go to be convinced by RLC.

Why we want to get rid of Willian is beyond me.  He gets stuck in every match, pulls the opposition defence to pieces at times, provides assists and scores the occasional goal.  Decent player imo and if he turns out to be good enough for Barcelona then he's surely good enough for us.

If we do I think it will make sense to sell Reuben, he has talent yet for whatever reason is unlikely to see it materialise at SB.

Cahill gets a lot of stick these days, but at one point he was literally shoving Christensen in to position, who seemed completely clueless, hope he gets his act together.

Can't rely on Morata or Giroud. Neither fill me with confidence up top. Morata will likely sooner or later go on one of his goal droughts, and Giroud barely scores goals and his movement can be poor. I didn't mean LB, I meant a RB, to challenge Azpi for that spot as Zappacosta won't be doing that.

LB with Palmieri and Alonso I think we are pretty well covered.

Striker seems fine with Giroud, Morata, and Mitchy.  But if one of them were to leave, sure.  But I doubt it is an area we are looking at in the January Transfer window.

Cahill needs phasing out sooner or later. If the club sell Andreas, then we'll need two centre backs. Unless Ampadu can somehow establish himself as a sufficient back up. 

I meant a RB replacement, not LB. Zappacosta isn't cutting it for me, and at the moment Azpi needs to settle into the system because he is looking very human all of a sudden in Sarri's system, so a RB to come in and give Azpi a kick up the arse and challenge him for the no.1 spot is crucial. 

I just don't have much confidence in our strikeforce, still. I find them too inconsistent and Giroud barely scores enough to provide goals when Morata isn't on form or injured. Morata scores occasionally, but he's still a flaky striker. When we go into games I don't feel confident that Morata or Giroud can 100% score a goal given the chances.  That shouldn't be the case with a striker at a top club.
