The money is there however let's just last summer as example. If you combine Garnacho and Gittens transfer, you probably get Semenyo.

The problem is Semenyo is 26, 4 years from now you cannot sell him as he will be 30 on massive wages. So in 4 years you need to shell another 70 m.

With gittens and garnacho, 4 years from now they will be only 25. Even if both flop you can probably sell them 25 m each and get 50 m to sign another winger.

All that you describe is true, but none of it is beneficial to the actual football side of the club, which is actually what concerns fans

I’m still shocked that the board thus far haven’t worked out that buying better players increases your chances of qualifying for the Champions League which brings loads of money into the club as opposed to skimping on wages, buying loads of low quality players and finishing 10th.

We are extremely blessed to not have European football this season, and for that very reason we are at a crossroads. We have a chance to either build a team that can merely qualify for Champions League, or one that could actually compete for the title.

We can either merely fill in the bold with penny pinching options or use 19-20 year olds as we have done in the past under this ownership, or we can actually really make a statement and sign ready made, established and experienced players that could push us to the very end.

Pedro/Jackson

New LW/Gittens--Palmer/Barco--Estevao/Quenda

New CM/Santos---Caicedo/Essugo

New LB/Hato--Colwill/Chalobah--New CB/Acheampong--James/Antwi or new depth RB

Sanchez/Penders

Blessed? Maybe. But. I am going to miss Wednesday games. We beat Barcelona - when Estawow! upstaged Yamal. It was looking okay for a while - but we all knew that the foundations were [are] shaky.

Your team/squad. What is the deal with Romeo Lavia? A hugely talented player - literally unable to play 90 mins.

Blessed in the sense we can take advantage of no European congestion and in the hope their 'self reflection' actually builds the team to where it needs to be.

I don't want to go into a 4th season relying on this bloke when he still hasn't played a full 90 or can play more than 1/3 of a season. Rather give that role to Santos.

I agree but he is the most difficult to offload. Neto we can sell and Garnacho will likely be a loan with option.

Only the shed end forum wish to offload neto unless I am mistaken blue co are living the neto dream

By now I've read loads of stuff about how they will profit.

PL clubs usually end up making a loss every year . The owners have bet on the fact that clubs increase in value regardless. And Todd was talking at a Bloomberg event about individual club TV streaming and broadcasting rights from global streaming giants being the way to increase income once the current broadcasting deals run out.. I think he did something similar with his baseball team..

Mind you, Brighton were one of only a couple of clubs who posted a profit a few season ago without any trophies to their name, and we all know the owners are obsessed with their business model!!
