The club, however, are confident their sponsorship value remains closer to £50m.”Arsenal are significantly more stable and less risk than us and Emirates is only paying them £40m.

June 2Jun 2 I think I'm right that the sponsorship deals with betting companies has to stop now for the 26/27 season onwards. There are, I think, 10 PL clubs (West Ham got relegated) currently with betting company sponsors that are all out there looking for new partners. Yet these clowns are still confident of getting a sponsor for 50m-60m. What a load of crap.
June 3Jun 3 A group that feels Garnacho and Gittens are PL top 4 level believe we are worth 50 M .. yes sure. Look at how far we have fallen- from having national team captains we have barely 4-5 players that are going for the worlcup.. this has been a colossal f**k up and I don’t think they are changing.
June 3Jun 3 Home kit looks like blueco partnered with Wimbledon on a tennis themed kit, but once again forgot to get the $$$ for FOS…At this point, let’s have “3” back as a sponsor… would pay for 2/3 of another gittens!!!

Out of our first team squad of 28, only Jorgensen was from a country that didn't qualify. The club listed 11 players going to the World Cup, which included Jackson, Penders and Paez who have been on loan, so that takes it down to 8 out of our first team squad of 27 (excluding Jorgensen) that are considered good enough to make an international squad, with a caveat that Colwill and Estevao would have been in if they had been fit enough (plus Palmer whose form seems injury affected). One of those 8 was Sarr, who was hardly played by Rosenior and McFarlane. The squad is so far off where we were under Roman that it's absolutely laughable that no-one has yet been sacked for assembling it.

Hopefully it is Alonso, but first this means that the players he asks for this summer perform and second, he has a good season so he could earn the trust of the board. It's the only possible way I see those clown Sporting Directors removed from the influence sphere of this club. If Alonso fails, I think we are truly f**ked.

What a load of crap. You would have thought having failed to get a sponsor for years claiming lack of CL was costing them that after achieving CL and winning CWC they would have struck while the iron was hot. Especially knowing as you point out how saturated the market would be of prem clubs looking for a sponsors when the betting deals are excluded.Could have sign a 4 yr deal on much more than the £30m they are cap in handing around for at the minute. No foresight. Complete incompetence.

In my view, the current group already has sufficient quality and depth to secure a top-four finish, especially with the benefit of playing once a week.Players such as João Pedro, Cole Palmer, Estevão, Levi Colwill, Moisés Caicedo, and Reece James form a strong and promising core. Even in the event of departures such as Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernández, the squad’s overall quality and structure would remain competitive. Furthermore, a potential acquisition like Arda Güler—possibly as part of a deal involving Enzo—could help maintain or even enhance the team’s technical quality and creativity. With the targeted addition of a CB & GK, this squad has the potential to finish top 3 and secure a domestic trophy next season. They can see better run club’s progression while we are regressing. If this was under Roman players knew even though there is a manager chaos we will still be winning. Now it appears multiple players want to leave and I suspect Cole and Caicedo are included in that but won’t push just yet.

No increase of prices are welcome, though I think that they increased them a fair bit last season. Hopefully they'll keep the ST prices for you lucky lot with one. I guess that it would be counterproductive to increase prices after such a sh*t season. Highlight that it seems that the EL will not be for junior/senior section only, but I'm not sure how that's going to reduce the touting, to be honest. For that, Todd and the lot need to stop selling tickets to tourists through non-Chelsea websites. As part of our anti-touting efforts and to increase the availability of tickets to members, the sales restriction rules in the East Lower South will be removed next season, allowing adult and youth tickets to be purchased without being bought alongside a junior or senior concession ticket.

First thing they've done right in the 4 years they've owned the club. Mental to read out loud.

Last season the price increase was about 8.5%. The club owners will only be taken seriously about combating ticket touting when they stop selling tickets to tourists through non-Chelsea websites. Sadly, can't see that happening. Here's the statement from the Chelsea Supporters Trust about the ticket prices.
June 5Jun 5 Florentino Pérez want to invest in CHELSEA if he loses Real Madrid presidency election! 😳 🗣 "I am very confident that I can win the election to continue as Real Madrid president, but the decision is not in my hands. The Real Madrid fans, who have been watching for over 15 years, know who they want. But if, surprisingly, I lose the election, I’m a football fan and I always like to be around the game, so I would love to invest in Chelsea — that is, if I can’t take full ownership of the club. I love the English club; it’s my favourite club after Real Madrid."Well er, that would be an unexpected thing....no idea if its a good or bad thing. Also a very good chance its bullsh*t 😅

His successor did better, but he changed the game in 2009 and they haven't looked back. Forget Real Madrid, without Perez, La Liga itself would not have wrested dominance from the EPL for nearly a decade.

During our glory years that was Peter Cech, JT, Frank Lampard, and Drogba. All dependable and leaders. The current crop resemble a load of tea ladies in comparison…..Then again reckon that the general mindset of players has altered over last decade or so. Mollycoddled, no backbone

Just a very talented core that needs an extra bit of vocal leaders on the pitch. If this board finally wakes up and adds a couple of experienced center backs and maybe a proven midfielder next to Caicedo, this team would go places.
