What a GREAT GOAL.

My dream is for us to sign Messi. That ain't gonna happen I guess. That goal has probably put his value up by another ?10m.

Anyway, as other's on here point out - he isn't a patch on Robben icon_wink.gif

Perhaps for his theatrics at the Bridge when he rolled around comically on the floor as if he had just been shot in a crap film whilst looking appealingly at the ref after being caught by Del Horno who was subsequently sent off when he wasn't even injured ?

Of course none of our players have ever done such a thing 139.gif

This is, its ture, we have seen robben score simmeler goals (not sure if quite as good) but that was all in the first season, im not some one that believes he is a one trick poney who has been figured out, hell i still believe he can be everything ronnaldo has been this seaon.

For me his problem is more mental than anything else, he seemes to lack the mental streghnth that ronnaldo, cole and even SWP (must be said) posses and goes missing when things arnt going his way, the first two mentioned will drop deaper for the ball, want it more to sort things out and probably up there work rate. robben goes missing.

Ive not seen enough of messi to comment on how he reacts when things arnt going his way but on pure ability he's cirtainly right up there, wouldnt say no
