July 26, 20205 yr Roman has invested alot in to the academy and it is at last looking like money well spent. The coaching staff in our academy must be some of if not the best in the world. At last we are really seeing the benefits and i would just like to say keep it up, you are doing a fantastic job and long may it continue. KTBFFH!
July 27, 20205 yr Now our biggest worry is young players blocking the progress to the first team of even younger players (Tariq Lamptey may have felt this) Edited July 27, 20205 yr by Valerie
July 27, 20205 yr I hope Lamps will give a chance to Conor Gallagher for next season. Boy deserves it.
July 27, 20205 yr I hope Lamps will give a chance to Conor Gallagher for next season. Boy deserves it. I watched him yesterday but I don't see him being ready. He looked like an midfield orchestrator at the 10 spot. We have plenty of options there. He lacks legs a bit for my liking. I feel Frank's best football would come out of a side that is pacy in every department.

This after all is the argument people use for continuing to wait for CHO to blossom. On a pure squad basis and for income generation, I think Conor Gallagher easily has the potential to surpass Ross Barkley and for me is already more assured on the ball. We could easily replace Barkley with Gallagher without diminishing ourselves and use Barkley to generate more cash for future purchases.
