November 9, 20205 yr Not to mention the fact we had so many first teamers out during the early parts of the season. Liverpool came far too early for us
November 9, 20205 yr After the sloppy first 10 minutes I thought we were fantastic, We definitely look a lot better in a 433 clearly suits our personel better and played some lovely stuff. Annoying that the international break seems to have come when we are bang on it at the moment but will be nice to hopefully have Havertz and Pulisic fully fit for the return, those 2 alongside Ziyech with Werner up top will cause any team trouble.

I thought we looked good too and then remembered that was without Havertz and where will he fit in when we play 4-3-3?

Think he played in the 433 against Burnley and was decent with Mount and Kante, He's pretty versatile by the looks of things can play multiple positions which is never a bad thing.

He did too and did ok for me though not sure if he is our best option there. He tackles like a center forward though reads the game well.

Are you going to sit and clap, nod and approve that this is beneficial for CHO? And in what way do you think that Callum is better than any of those four sufficiently to dislodge them from the team? Genuine question, because I don't see it. Callum's last couple of appearances emphasised exactly for me why he will get a few minutes subs appearances here and there and early cup rounds or matches against the sh*ttier premier league teams, and that is what he deserves.

Last couple of appearances? He scored the opening goal the last time he started a game! It also wasn’t some cannon fodder from the lower leagues, it was away in the Champions League.

He scored against the whipping boys of the group, in a match that we were dominating and he did nada for the rest of the match. The lad is probably good, but nowhere near the Messi-anic levels of adulation he gets from some people, (see what I did there?) and also nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Whenever he does get a chance, he rarely, if ever, makes you go "WOW" in the way that the top players do.

I wholeheartedly agree with your conclusion, however he rarely gets a chance to prove his worth. He never gets a run of games. You mentioned the whipping boys of the group however it was almost half time and we were 0-0 until CHO scored. You can play the goal down any way you like but it was a significant goal. A goal of importance which would not be played down if it were another player. CHO is certainly a player who splits opinion and a lot of it may be justified however you cannot sit there and claim he’s had chance after chance when the only game he starts he provides the opening goal. He’s barely featured since. As I’ve mentioned before, we have no idea what he does in training but there’s certainly a lack of faith from Lampard.
November 12, 20205 yr OK, we have differing views about that. You say "a lack of faith from Lampard", I say an unconvincing performance when given a chance from a player who needs to put in a 12/10 performance to make himself undroppable next time. I don't claim he's had chance after chance, the lad hasn't featured that much, but when he has, he has mostly failed to stake a claim to be picked to start in the bigger games. That's why I think he has found his level, early round cup games and premier league matches against the sh*ttier small teams like WBA, L**ds or Spuds.
