Posted May 2, 200718 yr I had a bet with my mate at work who is a Liverpool fan, if Chelsea won he had to have a Lampard wallpaper on his desktop for one day, if Liverpool won, well you can see what I'm having to endure. Oh the indignity.
May 2, 200718 yr Commiserations, commiserations... Nobody should ever have to go through that! Cheers, Butch
May 2, 200718 yr My thoughts are with you, Sweet Waffle. Be proud to be a Blue and endure it with dignity!

May 2, 200718 yr I still think people are so disappointed by our exit they have lost a grip on the match...pool's chances came against the run of play, I thought they were awful and can only think of a few players that had a good game...yes we may not have had loads who had a good game either, but people are making out we were outplayed or something...like i said elsewhere, if that was the case how come you heard 'it's so quiet at anfield' from our fans for large parts of the second half/extra time
May 2, 200718 yr Liverpool were not great by any stretch, I just think we were a fair bit worse - certainly in terms of creating any sort of goal scoring chance - and lets face it, that's exactly what we needed to do. Score 1 and the tie was as good as in the bag. Gerrard wasn't great but he still covered a lot more ground and more effectively than Lamps. Pennant gave Cole a pretty hard time and I was glad when he went off. But at times we were under a fair bit of pressure and we didn't deal with it as well as Liverpool did. It was not a great advertisement for English football, but you have to say, they deserved to win and I now wish that goal had not been disallowed so we wouldn't have had to suffer the penalties.
May 2, 200718 yr I was supposed to wear a spurs scalf all day at work when I lost a bet with someone at work, but fortunatley he let me pay him off instead. It was worth a fiver not to have to do it.
May 2, 200718 yr At least your desktops are still on your desk, mine would have been out the window. Unlucky mate, change it to a shot of him with a Premiership trophy. Oh wait... they don't have one.
