If Villareal are going to survive this, they need to pose some sort of attacking threat.

Travelling to away games in Europe is one of the perks. Also how can fans plan the trip if they don’t know if their team will reach the final or not. And surely having four sets of fans in one place is asking for trouble. They’ve really not thought it through…so will definitely happen then.

They’ve passed it neatly at times but then a sloppy ball lets them down. I think there are gaps for them to exploit if they get it right.

They have one player who can score goals and he is out injured. They have nobody on the pitch who could beat Allison so their only hope is an own goal.

Only 11% of the first half played in Liverpools half. Without Moreno the best Villareal can hope for is lady luck smiles on them and they get a 0-0.
