Disney+ is a weird platform for women’s champions league…

Agree. I'll miss the game as will be at a committee meeting of my local history society so hope to watch the highlights later.

The squad for tonight's match:

Chelsea’s travelling squad for St. Polten

Goalkeepers: Livia Peng, Becky Spencer

Defenders: Sandy Baltimore, Nathalie Bjorn, Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Veerle Buurman, Ellie Carpenter, Niamh Charles, Naomi Girma

Midfielders: Erin Cuthbert, Oriane Jean Francois, Maika Hamano, Wieke Kaptein, Sjoeke Nusken, Lexi Potter, Keira Walsh

Forwards: Lauren James, Sam Kerr, Catarina Macario, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Alyssa Thompson

I would've let Millie rest this one out, she had a poor game the other day! Bjorn had to compensate for her all game!

I noticed that too. Usually it's the other way around.

A good result and total domination.......but

Whilst the Arsenal draw was probably a fair result and on the turn of events we were lucky not to lose, on the first half display alone we probably should have been out of sight. So on to last night, 6 goals from in excess of 40 attempts equates to an almost 1 in 8 ratio. Barcelona will probably score at least once against us. Will we get 16 shots to score 2 goals?

Sonia Bompastor is right, these girls have to be more clinical and finish games off when the opportunity is there.

Great to see Sam Kerr on the scoresheet again.

We are missing most of our regular goal scorers (Aggie, Mayra etc.) whilst Sam is still working her way back up to speed after a year out & Lauren is only just back after injury too.

That's a fair point. However I would also say that Sandy, Ellie and Lucy have all got powerful digs on them. With Keira Walsh's class there is enough quality there to be more clinical.

Hey, I'm nitpicking because it was a really good performance. It's just that there will be tougher challenges and confidence and momentum can be the extra element. Using these opportunities to sharpen those shooting boots will stand the team in good stead
