He was the most exciting LB in the world when coming through at Boca, one of the biggest emerging talents in South America. Half a season under Rosenior doesn't change that.

Except with Barco we don't know if he can translate it to Europe. All we've seen so far is an uneventful time at Brighton and a frustrating loan spell at Sevilla. I'm not even sure when Rosenior decided to move Barco into midfield but that is when he started getting the plaudits.

This again just goes along with my point that if we are going to inevitably replace Cucurella, just buy an actual LB. An experienced one at that.

Think his height and getting used to European football was the issue at both Brighton and Sevilla. If Alonso decides to use a back 3 and play him as a LWB, that would mask his height.

Strasbourg paid £13m for Emegha. I think we can expect something in the low-mid 20s.

Charged with weighing up the relative merits of Delap and Emegha, the scale committed suicide.

Barco in my opinion having never watched him play apart from maybe a couple of games for Brighton, I see him as a better version of Vitinha with a little bit of Modric and Pirlo thrown in. Crap at set pieces though.

Any chance we can pull out of this transfer? Same as the Emegha one, absolutely pointless. Just more book balancing between BlueCo clubs. We sold KDH who is 5x the player. Makes 0 sense.

Don't want a single Argentinian in the squad, cancel the deal and let Strasbourg sell him to someone else.
