Just read some news that Chelsea will be playing Club America before they start their little friendly tournament.

Best news, is they are playing in Northern California, which means I do not need to spend all my saved money to buy a plane ticket to hopefully watch a match in late august before school starts, and I can instead drive two hours to watch them play at a new stadium at Stanford University. Happy days!!!

Anyways, glad to see the pre-season schedule getting more games in it, last season was a joke.

Suwon Bluewings - July 17th

LA Galaxy - July 21st

I know Stanford well, have friends and family not far away in Redwood City - i sure some of them will go. Wish i could be there.

There will be a good sized crowd at this game too, there is a huge Mexican presence in the BA and they will be well up for it.

You'll need to be loud! The Mexicans will be out in force and will be very loud and i expect quite intimidating too!

This wont be the normal Chelsea USA friendly in a half empty stadium with confused Americans - This will be big, should be a great day.

True, but I did OK at Anfield for semi final, so i think I can hold up

We need to rest every single important player on our team for this match. It's only a pre-season "friendly" for us, but the mExicans will be out to win at any cost. That cost is usually measure by how many players they can injure. They are the most cynical players in the world - purposely kicking out at your achilles, only to fall over when the ref turns round to see what's happened. To call them dirty wouldbe an insult to the word - they are well beyond dirty.

How do I know this? I grew up playing against nothing but Mexicans and if they can't beat you, they will surely take you down. DON'T RISK OUR PLAYERS AGAINST THESE VERMIN!

Just got two tickets for a friend and I in 103, right behind goal 10 rows up. Cannot wait to see Chelsea play their first game of the year. I'll probably go extremely early to see if I can see any players enter.

But everybody knows the best football in the world is played in Europe.

The climate will probably work against us and we'll probably lose!

I remember watching Manure play in that stupid World Club Championship....(FA CUP PULL-OUT ALERT)

I think it was after they won the treble and they played in South America.

They got spanked which gave me no end of joy,but the HEAT was a killer!

I remember they played Necaxa of Mexico and the World famous Vasco Da Gama of Brazil.

Shouldn't have pulled out the Cup you Red C**ts!! icon_lol.gif

Can a couple of the US based supporters PM me, I am now thinking I might have to make it down for this game too. Will need to get the ball rolling now, and take a look at work. Think we have a big event (biggest of the year) on July 15th so it might not even be possible, but I still want to keep the option open

I lok forward to talking to the US based contingency
