2k. Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I found this strangely sensible article in the times, what will McClown do? my guess is hope on Owen and Rooney being fit and f**k all else. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/ ... 260146.ece
sergeyMS Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 McClaren the maestro or Steve McMug? It?s over to you No need to organize poll I think
BackInBlue Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Bring back Emile Heskey campaign starts here.
2k. Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 over on one of the rovers forums someone has suggested Matt Derbyshire
BlueBeard Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Bring back Emile Heskey campaign starts here. I think Carlton Palmer's recall is also way overdue
yorkleyblue Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I saw Geoff Hurst in Poundstretcher buying a jumbo tin of dubbin and some string You heard it here first kev
BackInBlue Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 over on one of the rovers forums someone has suggested Matt Derbyshire From very little of what I've seen of Derbyshire, the guy does look good and seems to have the potential to be a really good goal poacher. His goal against Boro was class.
2k. Posted August 17, 2007 Author Posted August 17, 2007 I'm not saying he doesn't have potential, in the future he might have a chance with the england team but I don't think our 4th choice striker is quite ready to step up to international level yet!
sweet waffle Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Campbell and James have been recalled and the news was accompanied by this lovely picture which made me laugh, just look at the longing in Sol's eyes. Ahhh.
Jimboola69 Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 So McClaren has called up a bunch of injured players.... Who is going to send him a DVD of the last WC? PICK FIT PLAYERS YOU DRINGO!
2k. Posted August 18, 2007 Author Posted August 18, 2007 He really is a complete tool. The only people around here that were happy about him getting the England job were Boro fans which i think says it all really.
High Street Ken Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Bring back Emile Heskey campaign starts here. I think Carlton Palmer's recall is also way overdue I remember a newspaper report, which read something like: "Palmer picked up the ball in the centre-circle and went on a storming run, during which he beat four players (including two from his own side), finally ending up in exactly the same spot at which the run started. Even the opposing supporters cheered!" Priceless.
