Gem
I bought my ticket for this game when they went on sale, which seems forever ago now. Although what happens on the pitch is the most important thing, the reaction of the first home crowd (local derby non-the-less) to the Board/Management will tell us a lot I feel, especially for the remainder of the season at least. I expect chants of 'Stevie ((errrugh)) Clarke's Blue & White Army!' etc... But what about the players? Will Drogba and Lampard be there? If so, I expect to hear their names being sung. Not worried about Anti-Roman chants, but I expect to hear plenty of abuse for Kenyon. And of course, 'Jose Mourinho' ... Which I feel now is pretty pointless. The board know how the fans feel, making the players down by calling his name isn't going to help. I'd probably join in though F.ickl.e. As for predictions... Well, could easily be a 0-0, unless we learn how to work the goalkeeper. I am however going for 3-1 to the Blues - Pizarro and J.Cole x2. Someone else for them. COME ON THE CHELS!!!! The Moos
It would be great to get a win here. Not just for the team but also for Grant. He might not be much liked at the moment since Mourinho was so well liked but we should all try and support him. It's that the team needs. Imagine if he first lose to ManU and then goes on and breaks our record run at home? Poor bloke will be hanged. We played well at times against ManU even when we were one man down. I hope we can build on that and get a nice big win. I doubt Drogba will be back so the other attackers needs to play really well. Hopefully we'll have Lampard back anyway. Cech Belletti - Alex - JT - Cole Sweepy - Essien - Lampard - Malouda Sheva - Kalou But I think we'll see a 4-5-1 with Sheva alone up front. e!!iot
i'm going to go for 2-0. Joe Cole 1 and i think Shevchenko just HAS to score, how many chances does he need?

e!!iot
how many chances does he need? He hasn't had many at all. But the ones he has? 1 on 1's you'd expect a 30 million striker to score easily, with Shevchenko i wouldn't put my hopes up.

He's probably worse than Sheva at hitting the target Nice to have them both up front
MannyJello
here's the Yankee scouting report: - McBride: OUT (which is good news for us, as he would end up getting free on some set piece if he were marked by Alex or Ben Haim) - Bocanegra: will give a cheap shot to Lampard if he returns today - Dempsey: fun to watch; imagine Joe Cole about 3 years ago before he learned discipline (or last week after mourinho left) Thus concludes Air America. Tune in again next time we play a team with a Yank presence (Everton on 10 November?)

JT26CFC
watch Shevchenko get a hat trick just to piss off Mourinho i think 1-0 Lampard to score the lone goal. that's if he's playing. if not...then maybe SWP.
BlueBosnian
-------------Cech----------------Belletti--Alex--JT-----Cash- --SWP---Mikel--Essien--Malouda ----------Sheva--Pizarro--------- Mikel can't play, and even if he could, I'd put Makelele in his place. Other than that, I like the line-up you have.
Essien's Strike
------cech------- beletti--TBH--JT--Cole -------maka------------- joey-------essien-malouda -------sheva------------- --------------pizarro------ bench:bridge, alex,SWP,kalou, sidwell 1-1 joe, kamara/bouazza theyre always up for this match and even after the hull win, i dont see us being a coherent side yet. I predict some theatrics from Joe if he plays, scoring first and early, but then a reply from Foolham, and a 1-1 stalemate after '

Chippy
Cech Beletti TBH JT Cole SWP Sidwell Essien Cole Sheva Pizarro Doubt Waynes fit enough for this yet maybe another 20 minutes at the end, dont think we need Maka at home to Fulham and think Sidwell can play a frank type role while Essien mops up. Malouda on for whoever tires or gets over greedy first between Joey and Sweep. Kalou for Sheva or Pizzaro if its not working. 2-0 for me cheers
callista
I'll go for a tight 1-0 win. A tight 1-0 win? Fulham have been leaking and scoring goals like no ones business. I think a big score line - goals conceded either way. A draw or 2-1 or 3-1 to us. I expect to hear chants for Jose just for old times sake but hell as someone said the board know how most fans feel it's hardly news. I still he deserves his tribute here for the first home game. Lets keep that home record going shall we - that would be the real tribute to Jose's memory. God I sound like I'm talking as if he's died or something! Although it's felt that way at times this week. The Moos
dont know if its peen posted somewhere else but Drogba could be fit for this one according to SSN Just read that too somewhere. If I'm not mistaking it's news from the team (from Grant?) and not just some media rumour. I doubt he'll start the game but perhaps we'll see him for a few minutes anyway. Great to have him back. And soon Lamps and Riccy are back too. Finally some great news about the team
